JULY 4, 2006: Cherry Festival in Traverse City, MI

This year we were able to spend the 4th of July with Traig's parents and grandma in Traverse City. Cherry Festival was going on while we were there and we were able to watch the Blue Angels Air Show and attend a couple parades. The morning of the 4th, all of us got up early and headed 0ut downtown to enjoy a free cherry pancake breakfast. It was YUMMY!!! The city fed over 5, 000 people in 2 hours. It's actually a record now! We stopped by the local zoo where Traig's Dad had taken him many times as a little boy. Traig was able to show Baxter some of the native animals in Michigan.
